About : Pallavi Tyagi:
Early in life Pallavi decided that what she wants to do in her life is to communicate with the masses. She started following her dream and cleared the entrance exam for GGS Indraprashta university (Bachelors in Journalism and mass Communication). In the 2^nd year during her internship itself she got an opportunity to do a short stint as an anchor on DD National. In her third year of college she began free lancing with Siti Delhi and later moved to A2Z News where she got an opportunity to do LIVE news anchoring.

On the personal front, Pallavi is a calm but fun loving girl, loves dancing and singing, she is extremely focused & very clear about her life, values integrity and worships her parents. She is someone who feels very strongly about the plight of animals around her and her heart goes out for them.

Pallavi knows that News Anchoring is not merely a job but a responsibility that she is extremely passionate about. She strongly believes that if she gets the opportunity with Star News she will be able to reach out to more people specifically on issues that she feels are necessary to be highlighted and brought forward. She strongly believes in journalistic integrity and hence is also aware of the fact that she cannot take any stance on an but surely can give perspective and analyze an issue and raise awareness. On the other hand she believes she has the ability to deliver even any piece of news with complete ease. She has a strong presence of mind, spontaneity, the understanding of responsibility means and alertness with a smooth style of delivery  which according to her are the essential skills to become an effective and credible anchor with STAR NEWS.
