About Vishal:
Vishal Kalra is an Engineer. Although he was born and brought up in Ahmedabad, he is a pure Punjabi at heart.  He was selected from the Ahmedabad auditions. He believes he is cool headed and delivers the maximum irrespective of time, place and circumstances.
Why Vishal thinks he should become star anchor:
I have a great understanding of the way the media has been printing impacts on different mind sets across the country. This includes the youth sitting across the rural areas as well as the growth and entertainment oriented youth in the urban areas specially the metros. I always thought to change the way the news is delivered and specially the bubbles of sensationalism woven around petty issues. Sensationalism in my case is an integral part of news that is delivered but things on the same front can be altered. I believe that with my analytical skill and spontaneous sensible attitude I can change the way news is looked upon by different mind sets of the country and the message can be conveyed in a homogenous manner. Moreover, his knowledge of the technical arena and societal issues as well as his keen team building, membership and leadership skills makes him a complete package for the Star Anchor Hunt.
